A night of frolicking fun fashionable friend frenzy! My friend, Michelle aka Chubby Bunny hosted the ultimate art and fashion event called Bunnies & Bows. She curated the art show featuring 19 artists to create pieces around the theme. Let me tell you, bunnies and bows are two of my most favorite things so I guarantee you’ll love all the pieces! Oh and hey, art show isn’t enough. Michelle worked feverishly to create cute window displays for the shop, debuted her new 2011 line of accessories for Chubby Bunny. There were cute live models, a costume contest, and Lil Rae Cakes! LA Weekly did a great story writeup on how it all got started! Quite inspiring!

So…I had every intention to wear my Playboy Bunnie Romper from 2008. It’s cute, sexy, and more than appropriate for the event. No problem right? Wrong. Unfortunately I gained weight since then so I had a bit of a problem trying to get into this very well fitted outfit. More like I could get into it, couldn’t zip it up, struggled around the house topless for a good 15 minutes trying to zip it up…Then busted the zipper so I was STUCK in the romper…Again, wondering around the house in a state of panic. Then in an attempt to free myself, I busted the zipper. *Cue in sadness* If my butt was a half-inch smaller, it would’ve fit. And yeah it didn’t do me any good to go on a Foodie Adventure the day prior. The morning of the event, I tried again to see if by some miracle it would fit. Yeah, pretty much the same exact scenario ensued. At least it got a good laugh from my friends. This is my life folks.

Thanks to my wardrobe mishap, I took extra long to find a backup outfit. I didn’t leave for the party until 3pm that day…from my home…in the Bay Area… I tweeted of my departure and less than 5 hours later I was in LA for the party! WOOT! And only half an hour late to the party! I ROCK! And I’m crazy.

TIE MY SHOE BEBE!!! She is always so eager and willing to tie my shoe. What would I do without her?

I got a bit caught up in mingling and talking with all my fabulous friends so I barely took any people photos. SAD! But trust that there were TONS of fabulous fashionable friends! I love how the Bunnies & Bows party was synonymous for sexy, expose lots of skin attire! My friends are pretty much awesome
