Kittens & Ice Cream Art Show

A crazy sweet Caturday night at JapanLA to celebrate 5 years of cute culture along with a “Kittens and Ice Cream” themed art show! The night included crazy cat costume contest, cat face painting by Lindsay, delicious Lake Street Creamery ice cream, exclusive accessories & clothing made for the event, and the art! Oh all the cuteness!

I wish I had gotten a proper outfit shot because I made everything! Even my ice cream swirl wig! Argh! It was my first time wearing a wig (that was non-work related) to an event!

It’s true!! I’m usually at these events early or on time. The ONE time I come late! Pooo! Not enough time and I missed seeing some faces!! Regardless the night was fun as hell! The vibe at these events are always filled with such positive and creative people. I’ve met majority of my friends because of JapanLA. I don’t think you can find a more eclectic group of people who all share a love for cute. Everyone supports each other! People tend of think of LA as a very dog-eat-dog, backstabbing, drama filled kind of city. And it is. But it also has some of the most unique and accepting individuals that I’ve met. It all depends on who you surround yourself with. And I also love that with JapanLA parties, I am able to get into bed by 1am! Party hard you guys!
