Lazy Larchmont Sunday
Sunday morning brunch at Larchmont Bungalow! Home of delicious red & blue velvet pancakes and a ton other deliciousness! This place is apparently a hot spot for celebrities because everytime I go, there seems to be someone…that I don’t know…But a someone to someone else regardless. This time we had Freddie Roach’s trainer? I don’t know, but there were a lot of people on walkie talkies and camera crew.

We went baller status with the use of my Living Social AND Groupon!

Behold, the blue and red velvet pancakes! My tried to deny me of these since we’ve had them before. But Araceli read my mind and ordered them anyhoo! You cannot deny me of my patriotic cakes!!

Fried chicken crepe. I love fried chicken. I’m down for it any time of day. Though the prize for best fried chicken crepe goes to Crepen’ Around Truck. The honey drizzle they use is super. Not such a big fan of BBQ sauce used for Larchmont’s version. Then again, I’m not a big fan of BBQ sauce in general…

Jambalaya Scramble. This could’ve been better in my opinion. I needed more kick from the spices and perhaps some more rice thrown in.

The seafood omelette was very good and didn’t feel heavy at all. And their potatoes are crisp and savory!

Crepe a la Anne. You cannot go wrong with berries inside a crepe!

Smoked Salmon Benedict. This is the second benedict I’ve had from here and I wasn’t impressed both times. I don’t think this is their strong suit. So go for the french toast, crepes, and pancakes! Those are the winners! Along with all the yummy cakes and pastries they offer!

Narnia, Candace, Robyn, Me, and My

Sundays are the best to visit Larchmont because of the free parking and farmer’s market. And because my favorite Disneyland lovin’ Cheese Man is there selling his addictive parmesean cheese krisps! I also got some peach donuts, and white cherries to munch on while we shopped around. The area is always bustling with people. It’s a very chill, but fun vibe. I love this street!
Robyn, Candace and I hit up the Grove to watch Hangover 2 which was OKAY Funnie. I think I liked the first one better. Got a free panty. Ate my first apple fritter (WHAT?! I know…) and then grabbed dinner at Veggie Grill

I love fake chicken. Like a lot.
