Sweet Streets is back once again to give LA its yearly dose of art & fashion influenced by Japanese & Western 80′s popculture. This year we are introduced to Spank! a Japanese brand designed by Tavuchi Sayuri whose style is a re-imagining of cute, 80s-DIY-rainbow-pastel-frilly-ruffled fairy dolls. A collaborative fashion show featured clothes & accessories by Spank! & Chubby Bunny. The models wearing Sugarpill makeup came out in pairs pumping their pompoms, rocking like rockstars, and handing out sweet treats! The long line outside the WWA Gallery set a buzz in Culver City as passerbyers got a sweet visual eyeful from all the stylish attendees dressed in their cutest pastel fashion coordinates. I need this wall to be my backdrop for all future outfit photos! It’s so cute!
