hitRECord at the Movies with a Regular Joe
The night was just getting started at the museum, but I skipped over to the Vista Theatre for an evening at the cinema with a Regular Joe. Or as some of you may know him as Joseph Gordon-Levitt. He was showcasing highlights of film shorts, media, and a live performance from his open collaborative production company called hitRECord. Creative minds from all fields are able to contribute bits and pieces to make for others to take, remake, and remix into something cool.
I wasn’t quite sure what I was expecting from this night. Perhaps a hipster screening that would be too deep for me to understand. Little did I know I would leave the theatre feeling inspired from Joe’s passion for the creative process.
